In line with the New Jersey Makers Day Executive Board’s Statement on Social Justice, please find below a listing of BIPOC-owned (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) businesses supporting STEM and maker culture. We hope you use this list to identify local and regional partners, vendors, and presenters for your library or organization’s NJMD events. The businesses listed have indicated their interest in working with local libraries to address program and product needs in their communities.

We encourage any BIPOC-owned businesses interested in being part of this directory to use this form to submit a listing. The category of maker businesses is wide and far-reaching–from digital arts to bike repair, bakery to garden center–and if you or someone you know provides a service or product encouraging creative thinking and problem solving, we invite you to join this listing.
