The New Jersey Makers Day Virtual STEM Showcase celebrates the work of librarians throughout the state, especially as they highlight STEM and maker culture in their communities through engaging virtual programs. Use the content from our Virtual STEM Showcase to share with your community or as inspiration for your own making! We’d love to see what you create.

This week we are highlighting the Virtual STEM Showcase: Outdoor playlist!  The videos on this playlist highlight the wonderful natural world all around us and demonstrate experiments and things you can do to get outside.

In this video from the Mercer County Library System, Ms. Chrissy reads Give Bees a Chance by Bethany Barton and shows us how to make our own beehive to attract these industrious pollinators. Click here to view the full playlist.

If you are interested in submitting content to be a part of this project, we are still accepting submissions! To submit a video(s), and review guidelines, please fill out this form

New Jersey Makers Day would not be possible without generous support from the PSEG Foundation, New Jersey State Library, and Investors Bank.
