The Executive Board of New Jersey Makers Day is pleased to announce the release of its 2018-2019 Annual Report.

Highlights from the report include over 300 participating locations, over 2,700 individual maker programs, and a total statewide attendance of more than 83,000. New Jersey Makers Day also reached more than 115,000 makers via Facebook and Instagram.

During the 2018-2019 year, New Jersey Makers Day provided $5,400 in grant funding to enable a total of 12 recipients to  expand the capabilities of their
organizations and offer new hands-on learning experiences for attendees.

“It would have been hard to imagine when we started this journey five years ago that New Jersey Makers Day would impact tens of thousands of residents each year, as they explore unique hands-on learning experiences,” says Doug Baldwin, President of New Jersey Makers Day.

“We are so proud of the accomplishments of this small, but mighty non-profit, and we strive to continue each year to support and strengthen the successes of our participating site locations, from unique training opportunities and community support contests to a thriving mini-grants program and strategic partnerships.”
