The New Jersey Makers Day Virtual STEM Showcase celebrates the work of librarians throughout the state, especially as they highlight STEM and maker culture in their communities through engaging virtual programs. Use the content from our Virtual STEM Showcase to share with your community or as inspiration for your own making! We’d love to see what you create.
This week we are highlighting Virtual STEM Showcase:Crafts. The videos included in this playlist will keep everyone busy for the last few weeks of summer, from toddlers to teens.
Our featured video is from the Ridgewood Public Library and is part of their Teen Tech Club. Use common household items to create a toilet paper launcher, perfect for using up recyclables. Mr. Charles gives plenty of options to customize your launcher.
If you are interested in submitting content to be a part of this project, we are still accepting submissions! To submit a video(s), and review guidelines, please fill out this form.
New Jersey Makers Day would not be possible without generous support from the PSEG Foundation, New Jersey State Library, and Investors Bank.
