New Jersey Makers Day is excited to announce partnership with Girls Who Code to bring clubs to local communities throughout the state to provide interactive experiences and demonstrate projects at participating NJMD site locations.
Girls Who Code uses a club model to provide support and opportunities for girls to learn computer science concepts while working on socially conscious impact projects. By the end of 2017, the organizations is projected to have reached 40,000 girls in all 50 U.S. states.
NJ Makers Day is excited for the opportunity to help showcase Girls Who Code clubs in NJ, as well as connect NJMD sites with existing Girls Who Code clubs to spur new opportunities for even more girls.
