Did you know?
Since its inception in 2015, NJMD has fostered a love of STEM education through hands-on learning, community engagement, and creative problem-solving.
“Watching a 6-year-old boy take apart a lawnmower engine and put it back together using real tools was such a joy to see. Every realization about how things worked, from bolts and a ratchet driver to a spark plug and piston was visible on his face.” –Staff, Flemington Public Library
New Jersey Makers Day is a statewide celebration! In 2019, NJMD had 300 participating locations, over 2,700 individual maker programs, and a total statewide attendance of more than 83,000. New Jersey Makers Day also reached more than 115,000 makers via Facebook and Instagram.
New Jersey Makers Day is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and registered charity that relies on support from corporate sponsors and individual donors. You can make a tax deductible donation directly to New Jersey Makers Day by mailing a check, or online using any major credit card. Donations of any size are appreciated.
